For us at the Savasta&Partners practice, the hygiene and safety of patients and the Team (dentists, doctors, hygienists, assistants, secretaries and receptionists) is a top priority.
For this reason, we have always implemented the strictest safety and hygiene protocols, which in light of the recent pandemic, have been further revised more stringently.
- All practice surfaces are washable and are sanitized daily with medical-surgical aids such as Lysoform and Amuchina.
- Partitions are provided in all offices, and disinfectant gels are available
- At the input there is a thermoscanner that detects there temperature and the correct use of the mask.
- There is an air purifier equipped with a Hepa filter in the waiting room.
The clinical area then is separated by an automatically opening glass door, and those walking through it pass over a decontamination mat, which is very useful because most of the bacteria are on the shoes.
A UVC lamp is in continuous operation in each clinical room that sterilizes the ambient air (a garrison recognized to be 98% effective against viruses and bacteria ) and each lamp is certified to sterilize an 85 sq. m. environment, and our operating rooms range from 13 to 16 sq. m.
All operators use the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required by the regulations: bonnet, mask, uniform ,goggles or protective visor, overcoat.
Surfaces that are touched by both operators and patients (chair knobs, instrument keypads, headrests) are covered with disposable film that is replaced after each patient. They are then disinfected with high bactericidal and virucidal sprays and wipes (the products we use inactivate viruses and bacteria in 60 seconds ).
Finally, all instruments that dentists and hygienists use are stored in sealed bags and are sterilized in high-pressure steam at over 120 degrees in a suitable machine ( the "famous" autoclave )
Sterilization machines are periodically overhauled and effectiveness tests are done according to current regulations.
At the end of the work shift the whole studio is treated by an ozone machine ( this is why if you enter the studio early in the morning you might smell ''pool smell'') that is able to inactivate more than 98 percent of viruses and bacteria in the air.
