Among the most popular and appreciated immediate loading implantology techniques are All on Four and All on Six.
- The All on Four implant, known to be one of the most innovative implants in recent times, is so called because, unlike other implants, it allows the construction of a fixed prosthesis on the arch by the insertion of only 4 metal pins ( made of titanium). How is immediate loading implant surgery performed?
The timing of immediate-load implant surgery, in the case of both the All on Four and All on Six techniques, is quite rapid.
Already after about 48 hours, the patient will be able to benefit from his provisional prosthesis, which will be replaced by the permanent one only once osseointegration, the process by which the body metabolizes the newly implanted pins, which have become an integral part of the bone, is complete.
