The smile is one of the first aspects one notices when looking at a person, and for this very reason, more and more patients are seeking orthodontic treatments that can improve their smile, but in a subtle way.
Orthodontics, for its part, has been able to respond perfectly to these new needs of its patients, offering braces that are increasingly effective and imperceptible to the eye.
A rather striking example in this regard is INVISIBLE braces, which can correct misaligned teeth inconspicuously.
We at the Savasta practice, with our long experience in the field of orthodontic appliances, will be able to provide you with a solution to your problem of malocclusion or crowded teeth, guaranteeing impeccable service performed by professionals.

What is INVISIBLE orthodontics?
INVISIBLE orthodontics is a type of orthodontic technique that is used to correct malocclusions or tooth crowding. It is a very discreet dental appliance, as it is invisible, which ensures that the patient can correct his or her smile without anyone noticing.
The INVISIBLE APPARENT, as a mobile appliance, can be removed when needed, so it can be removed for drinking, eating and performing daily oral hygiene actions.
Unlike traditional braces, therefore, it creates no problems when brushing or flossing teeth for a more thorough cleaning.
Wanting to explain the workings of the INVISIBLE method, we can say that this consists of the use of a series of transparent templates that, thanks to the pressure they exert on the teeth, cause them to realign themselves correctly, until the position predisposed by the dentist and desired by the patient is obtained.
This technique thus replaces the more traditional ones, i.e., classic braces composed of metal wires and brackets. The INVISIBLE alignment technique is thus a practical, customized solution that provides maximum comfort.
The absence of metal wires and brackets, in addition to providing a certain type of aesthetics and much sought-after discretion, ensures that the patient does not have to endure the frequent abrasions that the material of traditional braces can generate; in fact, it does not scratch or irritate the mouth in any way.
How does tooth alignment work with invisible braces?
The clear masks should be worn for about two weeks each, but clearly each patient has a different condition, which is why you should always follow your dentist's instructions.
The teeth, thanks to the pressure exerted by the templates, will gradually move, thus progressing from week to week. During treatment with INVISIBLE orthodontics, it is essential to go to all appointments scheduled with the practice, because it is necessary to check progress on time.
The average duration of treatment ranges from 6 to 15 months, while the average number of clear masks to be worn can range from 18 to 30.
For whom orthodontic treatment is indicated
The INVISIBLE orthodontic system is primarily indicated for adult patients; children, as such (or younger patients anyway), would probably not have enough constancy to pursue such treatment.
For younger children, it is always better to opt for fixed orthodontics, which does not require the same commitment as mobile orthodontics, but for which it is enough to visit the dentist on time and follow his instructions. In spite of this, a technique of invisible orthodontics has been developed for a few years for adolescents as well.
Invisible braces are suitable for all patients whose goal is to treat cases of crowded teeth, narrow arches, teeth that are excessively spaced apart (thus having a large space between one element and another), as well as dental arches that have previously been treated with fixed braces, but which may have undergone subsequent shifts (sometimes caused by factors such as wisdom teeth growth).
Mobile, invisible braces are therefore ideal for all patients who want to achieve a beautiful, straight smile, but without having to go through the "fixed braces phase," which is hated by most people because of the way their smile looks for the duration of treatment.
Thanks to Invisalign, it is therefore possible to achieve the results with absolute discretion.
How long does the treatment last?
As mentioned above, the duration of treatment is variable because it depends on the specific case. Nevertheless, we can provide you with some indicative examples that may allow you to get a clearer idea.
